The European workshop of the EUROPE Project “Ensuring Unity and Respect as Outcomes for the People of Europe” will take place in Città di Castello on 13-14/12/2016 . The project has been funded by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus Plus Programme Key Action 3: Support for policy reform.
The aim of the EUROPE project is to set the stage for successful policy actions at the European level for preventing radicalization and promoting social inclusion, improving behavioural and academic outcomes in particular of migrant and minority students and those from disadvantaged social backgrounds, but of all students, by means of an innovative practice—the Quiet Time programme for schools.
The added value of the project will be to validate and set the stage for up-scaling the approach across Europe with particular attention to migrant population and to focus on (a) understanding of the enablers and barriers for a successful implementation in schools, (b) ensuring adequate project follow-up and sustainability, including by up-scaling the results, (c) awareness raising and dissemination activities and (d) giving a particular attention on/monitoring exploitable inputs for policy making
