The general objective of the APTA-MOD Project is to enhance the prevention of corruption, fraud and illegal activities affecting the financial interest of the Union through comparative law studies and analysis developing high-profile research activities in the field of prevention of corruption, improving transnational and multi-disciplinary approaches, as well as the exchange of information, experiences and best practices.

Linked to this, the Operational Objective is the construction, through studies and high-profile research activities, of targeted anticorruption models capable of operating in the context of the 4 candidate countries involved in the Project, which are experiencing corruption phenomena (Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia).

The models are designed to contain an anti-corruption policy and a set of anti-corruption measures, with specific attention to the management of EU funds (see the provisional outline for study).
